The WUP Nursing Alumni Association (WUPNAA) held their 2nd Grand Alumni Homecoming on Febuary 1, 2020 at the Alessandra’s Banquet Hall, Burgos Avenue, Cabanatuan City.
A motorcade kicked off the event at 6 in the morning starting at Vergara Highway. A Thanksgiving Service and Academic Lectures followed at the University gymnasium.
Approximately 150 alumnifrom different chapters attended the event with the theme “Celebrating the past, strengthening bonds, and sharing a stronger vision for nursing.”
“This is an opportunity to reuniteour nurses globally to know each other, reminisce, share what happened over the years, meet new friends, see old friends we haven’t seen for 30, 40 years,” said Dr. Nieves T. Adjarani, WUPNAA President of the Philippine Chapter.
University presidentJudge Benjamin Turgano, CONAMS Dean Dr. Wilfredo Ramos and 3rd district representative of Nueva Ecija Hon. Ria Vergara, graced the gathering.
A highlight of the event was the presentation of donations from alumni, like the Juno Mannequin for the Nursing laboratory.
