COLLEGE OF ALLIED MEDICAL SCIENCES
ABOUT COLLEGE OF ALLIED MEDICAL SCIENCES
Consequent to the continuous increase in student population and the more demanding requirements of the changing time that was further hastened and aggravated by the COVID-19 Pandemic, the former College of Nursing and Allied Medical Sciences (CONAMS) which existed since 2010 (then known as the College of Allied Medical Health Sciences) necessitated the institution of two (2) separate colleges: the College of Nursing (CON) and the College of Allied Medical Sciences (CAMS). This split of CONAMS will enable a more efficient administration and management of the colleges which will result in much-improved teaching and learning and university life experiences.
CAMS is the newest college established at Wesleyan University-Philippines (First Semester of the Academic Year 2022-2023). It offers four (4) bachelor’s degree programs which include the Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology, Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, and Bachelor of Science Radiologic Technology. It also offers the Associate in Radiologic Technology Program (X-Ray Technology). Its programs were granted candidate status by the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA).
