Wesleyan University Philippines has been accepted to The Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities, the oldest private education association in the Philippines with over 200 member-schools in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
University President Judge Benjamin D. Turgano took the oath of membership on behalf of WUP on September 26, 2020 during the PACU General Assembly and National Conference.
Earlier, WUP was also formally accepted to the Association of Christian Colleges and Universities in Asia (ACUCA) during the 24th General Assembly last November 7, 2019.
During the June 2020 ACUCA Executive Committee meeting, the officers and the members of the executive board warmly welcomed WUP, along with four new Christian academic institutions — Hokusei Gakuen University, Tokyo Woman’s Christian University, Widya Mandira Catholic University, and Universitas Kristen Indonesia — into the now 69-member association. #
