The Wesleyan University-Philippines Carolina L. Gozon Institute of Lifelong Learning marked asignificant milestone on May 8, as it celebrated its first anniversary in a memorable event filled with appreciation, reflection, and gratitude. The festivities commenced with a Business Meeting at the CLGILL Headquarters, followed by a heartfelt Thanksgiving Worship held at the University Chapel.

The Business Meeting gathered esteemed guests, key stakeholders, deans and heads of Wesleyan University-Philippines, and program coordinators and affiliate faculty of the Institute. The event served as a platform to acknowledge the achievements of the past year, assess future goals, and express gratitude to the dedicated team that contributed to the Institute’s success. Top executives, including WUP President, Judge Benjamin D. Turgano; Chairperson of the Institute, Mrs. Florencia G. Tarriela; Honorary Vice Chairperson of the Institute, Mrs. Carolina Gozon-Jimenez; Atty. Edgar Tarriela; and Dr. Amelia Lazaro Davies, expressed their greetings, good wishes, and appreciation for the hard work and commitment of everyone involved. Mr. Christian Jan S. Fausto, Director of WUP CLGILL, delivered a report that highlighted the Institute’s accomplishments and visions for the future.

Exciting plans for the upcoming year, including new projects, strategic partnerships, and innovative initiatives, were also unveiled, generating an atmosphere of anticipation and enthusiasm among the attendees.

Following the Business Meeting, the CLGILL family gathered at the revered University Chapel for a Thanksgiving Worship service. The serene ambiance and sacred surroundings provided the perfect setting for reflection and gratitude.

Looking forward, CLGILL is poised to continue its upward trajectory, guided by the core values of integrity, innovation, and excellence. With a firm commitment to serving the marginalized and making a positive impact in the industry, CLGILL embarks on its second year with renewed enthusiasm and determination.
