Wesleyan University-Philippines (WUP) produced 314 registered nurses in the August and September 2026 Nurses Licensure Examination (NLE), based on the results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on September 18, 2026.

Among the graduates who passed the licensure examination were 312 first-time takers, recording an 87.15% performance (1.34% higher than the national average in this category (85.81%)), and two repeat takers.

The University’s overall passing rate of 82.63% registered 5.89 percentage points higher than the national overall passing rate of 76.74%.

WUP maintained its distinction as the biggest producer of registered nurses in Nueva Ecija during the August and September 2026 PNLE, followed by the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology with 207 passers and Our Lady of Fatima University-Nueva Ecija with 190 passers.

Delos Santos ranked 9th nationwide

Leading the University’s passers was Shekinah Lei B. delos Santos, who ranked 9th nationwide in the August and September 2026 NLE.

Delos Santos duplicated the performance of Amia Franchezka Bautista, who also ranked 9th in the November 2024 NLE.

She joined the College of Nursing’s roster of licensure examination top performers, which included Ma. Paola Joy Esposo (10th Place, 2015), Geastyne Lauren Nolido (2nd Place, November 2014), Camille Cruz (10th Place, May 2014), April Joy Galicia (10th Place, 2010), Rocky San Pedro (6th Place, 2006), Edgar Allan Cruz (10th Place, 1995), Maricar Lacanilao (10th Place, 1992), Henrietta Torralba (7th Place, 1986), Nenita Manayao (10th Place, 1983), Domingo Tan Lim (6th Place, 1983), and Dana Relucio (6th Place, 1978).

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing program of WUP maintained its Level IV Accreditation Status, the highest level of accreditation awarded to a college or graduate program by the Association of Christian Schools, Colleges, and Universities–Accrediting Council, Inc. (ACSCU-ACI).
