Wesleyan University-Philippines (WUP) Elementary Department, with the Center for Child Development and SHARE Program, revived the conduct of its Acquaintance Party and Induction of Officers with the theme “Denim & Diamonds,” on September 3, 2025, at the University Gymnasium.
The program began with a devotion, followed by messages from WUP President Dr. Irineo G. Alvaro, Jr., Dr. Wilfredo C. Ramos (VPAA), and Dr.Gladys P. Mangiduyos (VPAP).
Messages were also delivered by SGO Adviser Mrs. Marilou E. Sta. Ana and Cabanatuan City Mayor Hon. Myca Elizabeth R. Vergara, who served as the guest of honor and inducting officer.
Highlighting the evening was the installation ceremony for the newly elected Student Government Officers (SGO), classroom officers, and General Parent-Teachers Association (GPTA) officials, led by Mayor Vergara, together with Dr. Alvaro and Prof. Crystalyn A. Galindo, Director of the Office of Student Affairs.
Special awards were presented, including Mr. and Ms. Face of the Night, Prince and Princess, and King and Queen, to recognize students who best represented the event’s theme through creativity and confidence.
The celebration continued with dinner and socialization, offering parents, teachers, and students an opportunity to connect as a community. The event concluded with closing remarks from Principal Dr. Cristy M. Fernando and a prayer led by University Chaplain Rev. Francis V. Fajardo.
