The 63rd National Convention of the Association of Christian Schools, Colleges, and Universities (ACSCU), hosted by ACSCU North Luzon and held at Wesleyan University-Philippines (WUP), concluded on June 4, 2025, with a Consecration Service and Closing Ceremonies at the University Chapel.The three-day event drew 143 participants from 64 member institutions registered for this year’s convention.

Dr. Irineo G. Alvaro, Jr., President of WUP and former ACSCU Trustee, was elected Vice President of ACSCU on December 1, 2024, succeeding Dr. Gisela D.A. Luna. Dr. Betty C. McCann, President of Silliman University, continued her term as ACSCU President. Other officers and trustees elected include Dr. Arceli H. Rosario (Corporate Secretary), Dr. Marivic L. Daguio (Treasurer), and trustees Dr. Pio D. Baconga, Dr. Ernest Howard B. Dagohoy, Dr. Benneth L. Mercado, Dr. Lucris Carina N. Agnir-Paraan, Dr. Christine J. Tan, Rev. Dr. Joshue Zuriel G. Tiempo, Dr. Remwil R. Tornalejo, Dr. Kathleen Rose L. Guimbatan, Dr. Ruby Leah Lising, and Mr. Romeo L. dela Rosa. Bishop Elorde M. Sambat, ACSCU Executive Director, and Dr. Angelito P. Pedreno, ACSCU-Accrediting Council, Inc. Executive Director, remained as ex-officio trustees. They would serve their office from 2025-2028.

The convention included presentations from key organizations such as the Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC), Department of Education Region III, Coordinating Council of Private Educational Associations of the Philippines (COOPEA), and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). Dr. Junifen Gauuan, President of Philippine Christian University, shared insights on best practices in internationalization and resource generation.
WUP, as host institution, presented performances during the Welcome Dinner and Cultural Night.

Participants also took part in a local tour organized by WUP, visiting historical sites including Freedom Park and Plaza Lucero, as well as local delicacy shops.
