The Nursing Lions (CON) once again prowled with grace and precision as they danced their way to the championship crown in the Dance Sports Competition of Palarong Wesleyan 2025, marking a back-to-back-to-back triumph on the Wesleyan dance floor.
The Lions’ dynamic duo, Gilbert Pascua and Janere Rumingan, commanded the floor with precision and rhythm, securing the judges’ nod and clinching the top spot with an impressive 88.56 points.
Close on their heels, the Business & Accountancy Dragons (CBA), represented by Edward Joseph Restua and Maria Karylle Lazaro, ignited the stage with fiery footwork to claim second place at 88.44 points.
Meanwhile, the Allied Medical Sciences Vipers (CAMS) slithered with striking elegance as Michaela Janil Bernarte and Bryzon De Guzman danced their way to a third-place finish with 77.89 points.
Additionally, in the individual category, Gilbert Pascua (CON Lions) stamped his dominance in the men’s division by bagging both Best in Jive and Best in Cha-Cha, while Edward Joseph Restua (CBA Dragons) captured the title of Best in Rumba.
On the women’s side, Maria Karylle Lazaro (CBA Dragons) dazzled with commanding wins in Jive and Rumba, as Janere Rumingan (CON Lions) captivated the crowd with her graceful performance to claim Best in Cha-Cha.
