The state-of-the-art laboratory was equipped with the latest technology and simulation equipment to provide students with the most realistic and effective learning environment. During the visit, Vice President for Administration and Planning Dr. Gladys P. Mangiduyos suggested blessing the facility, recognizing the importance of a sacred space for the education and training of future nurses.

The three bishops conducted the blessing, invoking divine guidance and blessings upon the laboratory, the faculty, and the students. This auspicious start to the semester signified the College of Nursing’s commitment to providing the highest quality education and producing compassionate, competent, and globally competitive nurses.

“We wanted to provide our students with a learning environment that closely simulates a real hospital setting. That’s why we meticulously designed the Nursing Arts Laboratory to be as realistic as possible. Furthermore, we ensured that the dimensions and specifications of the lab adhere to the stringent requirements set forth by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) to guarantee the highest quality of nursing education,” Dean Carissa Balaria stated expressing her gratitude.

Dean Balaria also extended her sincere thanks to the entire University administration, led by University President Dr. Irineo G. Alvaro Jr., for their unwavering support and dedication to the continuous improvement of the College of Nursing.
