Wesleyan University–Philippines conducted Project TAGUMPAY 2.0: Gender Sensitivity Training on March 5–6, 2026, engaging student leaders on the first day and faculty and staff on the second in a whole-day formation promoting gender awareness and inclusive practices.

Organized by the GAD Office, the training emphasized that equality is a shared responsibility. In her overview, the GAD Director highlighted the role of leaders and educators in shaping a culture of dignity, while equipping participants with knowledge on gender-sensitive language, stereotypes, consent, and professional boundaries.

The sessions, aligned with national laws and CHED policies, were facilitated by partner resource persons from the Board of Women’s Work of the United Methodist Church, including Deaconess Sheena Camille Calma-Sanchez, Rev. Sandra Khemlani, and Ms. Jennifer Ferariza-Meneses.
Through discussions and reflection, participants were called to move from awareness to action—promoting respect, justice, and equality in the university community.
