The marketing team from Wesleyan University-Philippines (WUP) participated in the St. Rose of Lima Catholic School, Inc. Senior High School (SHS) Career Fair on March 11, 2025, held at the school’s campus in Sta. Rosa, Nueva Ecija. The event provided an opportunity for WUP to interact with high school students and showcase the university’s academic offerings, scholarships, and other programs.The WUP team, which included faculty members from various colleges and the Public Information Office, conducted a comprehensive room-to-room promotion to engage students about the benefits of pursuing their college education at WUP. They highlighted the university’s diverse academic programs and the financial assistance options available through scholarships. Justifying why WUP must be their choice.

In addition to the in-classroom promotions, the WUP team set up an interactive booth, where students could explore detailed information about the university’s courses, services, and enrollment process. Informational materials were provided, allowing for further engagement and a better understanding of what WUP has to offer.

The team included Prof. Rodelio Liwag and Engr. Charles Trebor Fausto (College of Engineering and Computer Technology); Prof. Merry Joy F. Trucilla and Prof. Fatima Salih (College of Criminal Justice Education); Prof. Fiona Corrine Esteban and Prof. Twinkle Cleofas (College of Arts and Sciences); Prof. Amia Bautista (College of Nursing); Prof. Jamaica Dela Cueva and Elizabeth Eduardo (College of Hospitality and Tourism Management); Prof. Marcelino Lim and Prof. Jewel San Pedro (College of Business and Accountancy); Prof. Karl Luegim B. Bernarte (College of Education); and Ms. Jessica Maureen Gaurano and Mr. Julian Jade Mariano (Public Information Office).

Marketing Coordinator Ms. Jessica Maureen Gaurano expressed her impression of the event, stating, “The students and faculty members of St. Rose of Lima Catholic School, Inc., showed enthusiasm during our interaction with them. We hope that this effort will yield a good turnout for WUP.”
