In honor of this accomplishment, the College of Arts and Sciences through the Social Worker Society organized the “Thanksgiving Service and Testimonial Dinner for Social Worker Licensure Examination Passers 2023” on November 16, 2023, at the Luzviminda Event Center in Magsaysay Sur. The event aimed to recognize the graduates who succeeded in the licensure exam after their rigorous work and to thank the Mighty Creator for this gift.
Rev. Francis Fajardo, OIC-University Chaplain, addressing SOWO students and alumni, emphasized the inevitability of life’s challenges and encouraged all attendees to view them as opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Prof. Pauline Viola, the program head, reflected on the evening as a celebration of the journey of the newly licensed social workers, marking the beginning of a proud legacy that uplifts the Wesleyan pride.
In her inspirational message, Miss Helen Bagasao, PASWI President of the Nueva Ecija Chapter and Cabanatuan CSWDO, expressed immense pride in the dominance of Wesleyan passers from the Nueva Ecija Chapter. She urged the students and alumni to nurture their inner character, practice humility and generosity, sustain efforts, and set high standards in their professional endeavors. She also stressed the importance of character, stating that every step is necessary, and without good character, achievements can lead to damage.

The event provided a platform for SOWO students and alumni to engage with each other, demonstrating the strength of their connections rooted in Wesleyan principles.
