The WUP Dancesport Team was declared champion in the Latin and Standard Dance Competitions in the Private Schools Athletic Association (PRISAA) Regional Games 2023 at Columban College Inc., in Olongapo City, Zambales on May 2-6, 2023.
The team was composed of Baby Angela H. Malubay (BPED 1-1), Leopoldo T. Segundo, Jr. (BSN 2-3), John Howard Delos Reyes (BPED 1-1), and Jc M. De Luna (BSBA 1MM1). These student- athletes were coached by Mr. Paulo Alejo, a faculty at the College of Arts and Sciences teaching PE courses.
With this, the team earned its ticket to compete at the National PRISAA 2023 scheduled in July in
Zamboanga representing both Wesleyan University-Philippines and the Central Luzon Region.
