Wesleyan University-Philippines (WUP) achieved a 100% passing rate for its first-time takers in the June 2025 Physical Therapist Licensure Examination (PTLE). The university recorded an overall passing rate of 80%, surpassing the national overall average by 13.97%. The result was released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on June 10, 2025.
The passers included Cayle Justine Parungao Fulgencio, Maria Antonette Vicencio Francisco, Ruffa Mae Buan Inovero, and Krissel Monique Amparo Olanda.
Prof. Jacinto Jose P. Gapud, Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy (BSPT) Program Head, extended his congratulations to the passers, stating, “Your perseverance and faithfulness to God’s plan made all these things possible. For with God, nothing is impossible. It is truly a significant milestone for the Physical Therapy program to obtain another 100% passing rate for our first-takers. Your CAMS family will always be proud of you! I wish you all success in your future endeavors. To GOD be all the glory!”
WUP is the only higher education institution in the province of Nueva Ecija offering a BSPT. The program is housed under the College of Allied Medical Sciences (CAMS) and is accredited by the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA).
The BSPT program has consistently produced strong licensure results. In June 2023, it achieved a 100% passing rate for first-time takers, with graduate Alessandra Loi Tolentino Silva placing third nationwide. The program also recorded 100% passing rates for first-time takers in December 2023 and June 2024.
