The Gender and Development (GAD) Office of Wesleyan University-Philippines (WUP) hosted HERstage 2025 on Friday, March 28, at the JJDG Auditorium. The event featured performances and recognition programs focused on the achievements and contributions of women within the university.

Students and faculty from various colleges participated through stage performances. Featured groups included Male Executive Voices, Gallant Harmony, TELON, and the WUP Chamber Singers.

The event included the awarding ceremony for the DigiArt Competition, which highlighted gender advocacy themes. The winners were:

1st Place: Rotaire Jan P. Concepcion, College of Nursing
2nd Place: Nicole Ann D. Molina, College of Business and Accountancy (CBA)
3rd Place (tie): Ofelia R. Domingo, College of Nursing, and Christine Joy Y. Talampas, CBA

A segment of the program was dedicated to honoring the Outstanding Women of Wesleyan. Awardees were recognized in the categories of scholarship, service, and character:

Outstanding Women in Scholarship:
Ms. Darleen C. Marquez
Ms. Roselia N. Nuñez

Outstanding Woman in Service:
Ms. Annalita Bolante

Outstanding Woman in Character:
Dean Marietta B. Agustin, College of Arts and Sciences

Additionally, the University President issued an Executive Order that declared March 31, 2025, as WUP Women’s Recognition Holiday.
HERstage 2025 was organized as part of the university’s initiatives under the Gender and Development Office.
