Wesleyan University-Philippines (WUP) produced 49 new licensed social workers in the September 2026 Social Workers Licensure Examination (SWLE), based on the results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on September 16, 2026.Of the 49 passers, 35 were first-time takers. Their performance recorded a 94.59% passing rate, 12.15 percentage points higher than the national average passing rate for this category of 83.54%.

For repeat examinees, 14 passed, giving WUP a 70% passing rate. This was 22.66 percentage points higher than the national average passing rate for repeat takers (47.34%).

The University recorded an 85.96% overall passing rate, exceeding the national overall passing rate of 76.27% by 9.69 percentage points.

In a message to the Academic Council, College of Arts and Sciences Dean Marietta B. Agustin shared the college’s accomplishment.

“Sharing with you our joy. Lumabas na po ang results ng Social Work Licensure Exam. We registered a 94.59% passing rate,” Agustin said.

In a separate message, Agustin also acknowledged the efforts of the Bachelor of Science in Social Work (BSSW) faculty members, saying, “Congratulations at salamat sa matiyagang pagpapastol sa ating mga examinees.”

The BSSW program was granted Level IV Accreditation Status by the Association of Christian Schools, Colleges, and Universities–Accrediting Council, Inc. (ACSCU-ACI), the highest accreditation level granted to a college or graduate program.
