Wesleyan University–Philippines President Irineo Alvaro Jr. appointed Dr. Omar Z. Montejo as concurrent Executive Managing Consultant and Interim Hospital Administrator, effective October 7, 2026.Under Executive Order No. 003, Series of 2026, Dr. Montejo, who is serving his third term as National President of the Association of Nursing Service Administrators of the Philippines (ANSAP), would oversee the hospital’s administration, operations, finances, and personnel management. His responsibilities included improving resource utilization, strengthening coordination among hospital services, and promoting operational efficiency and accountability.
He currently serves as Vice President for Operations and Vice Chairman of the Philippine Tripartite Accreditation for Health Facilities, a certified surveyor/assessor, and an ISO auditor.
He has previously held various hospital management and leadership positions, including Director and Vice President for Patient Services, Quality, and Training.
His professional background includes systems development, quality assurance, policy development, and accreditation.
