Designed to broaden the academic horizons and global perspectives of its learners, an International Study Program (ISP) was conducted for the Senior High School (SHS) students in partnership with Prime Learning Center in Sydney, Australia, on March 22-28, 2026.
Primarily, the ISP aimed to expose the Grade 12 STEM students to diverse educational practices and global standards to enhance their communication, collaboration, and intercultural competencies, as well as to familiarize students with the culture, traditions, and way of life in Australia.
The program was participated in by four selected Grade 12 Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) students, namely Denmar Kianne Corpuz, Connor Smyth, Pawanpreet Singh, and Daryl Corpuz, accompanied by Mr. Rolando M. Competente, SHS Work Immersion Coordinator.
The collaboration between Wesleyan University-Philippines (WUP) and Prime Learning Center became possible with the leadership of Dr. Tita B. Camat, High School Principal. It served as a platform for cultural exchange, academic development, and experiential learning among participating students.
“As the first of its kind in the WUP SHS program, this not only features the institution’s pursuit for innovation in education but also sets a goal for future international collaborations that would continue to upgrade the academic journey of SHS Wesleyanians,” Dr. Camat noted.
