This collaboration signifies an important step in advancing entrepreneurship education and skills development through an AI-powered LMS within the university. Under the three-year agreement, WU-P will adopt Wadhwani Foundation’s designed curricula and digital platforms, such as the Wadhwani Entrepreneur Network and the Wadhwani Skilling Program, across its colleges.
The partnership aims to strengthen faculty capability, enhance student competencies, and promote entrepreneurial mindsets through comprehensive training, mentoring, and assessment systems.
Signing the MoU on behalf of WUP were University President Dr. Irine O. Alvaro, Jr., Vice President for Administration and Planning Dr. Gladys P. Mangiduyos, Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Wilfredo C. Ramos, and WESCOP officials led by OIC Director Dr. Eufemia C. Ayro, Prof. Jose Arsenio Adriano, and Mr. Christian DG. Navarro. Representing the Wadhwani Foundation were WSN Sr. Program Manager, Wadhwani Foundation Ms. Amormia Jacoba-Rosales, WEN Director, Wadhwani Foundation Mr. Lucrecio Delgado, Jr., and Wadhwani Foundation personnel assigned to WU-P Mr. Edward Shiener Landoy.
The event was spearheaded by the Wesleyan External Systems, Connections, Opportunities, and Partnerships Office (WESCOP), which serves as the administrator of the initiative.
This partnership is envisioned to build an innovation-driven, future-ready academic environment while advancing both institutions’ shared mission of nurturing entrepreneurial leadership and promoting sustainable development in the region.
