Wesleyan University-Philippines (WUP), led by University President Irineo G. Alvaro, Jr., formally received the accreditors from the Association of Theological Education in Southeast Asia (ATESEA) on July 2, 2025, at the CHTM Function Hall.The accreditation team included Dr. Limuel Equina, Dr. Lester Edwin Ruiz, Dr. Chanaporn Jaisaodee, and Mr. Vince Ervin Palcullo. Their visit aimed to assess the Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry programs under Wesley Divinity School (WDS), the seminary arm of WUP.
The accreditation process would span three days, from July 2 to July 4, 2025. During the visit, the team would evaluate institutional documents, conduct interviews with faculty, students, and administrators, and observe facilities and academic activities relevant to the programs.
