To assess the library’s needs to further improve resources, technology, and facilities that will benefit students, employees, and other stakeholders availing the library services, Dr. Irineo G. Alvaro, Jr., Wesleyan University-Philippines president, visited the Library today, August 7, 2025, to personally conduct an ocular inspection.

“Dr. Alvaro’s commitment to prioritizing the university library highlights the importance of providing students with a well-equipped and innovative learning environment,” noted Dr. Carmelita A. Tiglao, Chief Librarian.

Dr. Alvaro and Dr. Tiglao were joined by Ms. Rio Anne B. Dizon, Head Executive Assistant, Dr. Josef Z. Nacino, Asset Management Office Director, Mr. Mark Edson Tamondong, Maintenance and Engineering Office Head, and Mrs. Lourna Manuel, Library staff.

The inspection is part of ongoing efforts to improve facilities and services across the university.
