The College of Engineering and Computer Technology (CECT) – Information Technology Program once again showcased its excellence, earning Overall 2nd Runner-Up at the Regional Assembly on Information Technology Education (RAITE) 2025, held on October 17, 2025, at NEUST – Sumacab Campus, Cabanatuan City.
This year’s RAITE embraced the theme, “I.T. Beyond Tomorrow: Shaping the Digital Frontier,” celebrating the ever-evolving world of Information Technology and the pivotal role of young innovators in building a smarter, more connected future.
Participants from 27 colleges and universities competed in this year’s RAITE, displaying their creativity, technical skills, and innovative spirit across multiple IT competitions.
Guided by their mentors, the CECT–IT delegates demonstrated teamwork, ingenuity, and drive—reflecting the WUP’s commitment to developing globally competent IT professionals.
Among the highlights in Wesleyan University-Philippines’s participation were the performances of Shandler Canoza, who emerged as Champion in the Lanyard Design Competition, under the guidance of Prof. Cathy Tugaff and Engr. Mark Anthony David.
In addition, the CECT Tigersharks Dance Team showcased their talent, earning them the 1st Runner-up title, along with special awards for Best in Group Costume and Best Male Performer, awarded to Louise Rabang, with Prof. Tugaff as coach.
Meanwhile, the Valorant CECT Team secured the 1st Runner-up position in the esports category, coached by Prof. Arnold I. De Leon Jr.
Beyond trophies and titles, the CECT–IT delegation embodied unity, discipline, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. Their performance inspired fellow students and reaffirmed CECT as a hub of innovation, creativity, and digital excellence.
Together, we continue shaping the digital frontier—beyond tomorrow.
