Wesleyan University-Philippines (WUP) achieved a 75% passing rate in the November 2025 Nutritionist-Dietitians Computer-Based Licensure Examination, surpassing the national overall average passing rate of 69.49% by 5.51% based on the results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on November 11, 2025.
Dr. Dulce Amor S. Padilla, Dean of the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CHTM), expressed her happiness upon learning the results, saying, “naiiyak ako sa galak,” noting that this was the first time its BS Nutrition and Dietetics (BSND) graduates took the licensure examination since the program was revived four years ago.
Three WUP graduates—Ram Ezekiel S. Castillo, Erika Gianne R. Domingo, and Angelie S. Gagala—passed the examination. They were among the 945 successful examinees out of 1,361 takers from 48 higher education institutions nationwide.
Dr. Padilla encouraged graduating senior high school students to consider pursuing the program, stating, “I strongly encourage incoming college students to pursue a BS in Nutrition and Dietetics because it opens doors to a fulfilling, in-demand career that directly improves people’s health and quality of life. If you want a job that’s both meaningful and rewarding, BSND at WUP is the right choice.”
Currently, WUP is the only higher education institution in Nueva Ecija offering the BSND program.
