Following the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signed in August 2025, Wesleyan University-Philippines (WUP) and the Alfrito David Mah (ADM) Foundation, Inc. held a scholarship agreement signing ceremony on October 10, 2025, at the ADM Corporate Office in San Fernando, Pampanga, facilitated by the Wesleyan External Systems, Connections, Opportunities, and Partnerships (WESCOP).

The ceremony marked the formal awarding of scholarships from the Patient Care Corporation Education Program to four WUP nursing students—Nash Andrei D. Ubalde (BSN 1st Year), Ma. Shania C. Laogo (BSN 2nd Year), Noel Christian D. Barcelona (BSN 3rd Year), and Neil Arnold T. Manalili (BSN 4th Year)—who attended the event with their parents.

Present during the event were Mr. Gino Paulo Mah, Executive Director of ADM Foundation; Mr. Alfrito David Mah, President of Patient Care Corporation; WUP representatives: Dr. Eufemia C. Ayro, OIC Director of WESCOP; Prof. Jose Arsenio R. Adriano; Mr. Christian Navarro; Ms. Minerva Delos Santos (member of the Selection Committee); and Prof. Mellany Lagasca, Extension Coordinator of the College of Nursing.

“Out of 38 applicants, only four outstanding students were chosen to receive the scholarship. The event was marked by a warm welcome from the Mah family and the employees of Patient Care Corporation, symbolizing the beginning of a meaningful partnership rooted in compassion, education, and shared values,” said Dr. Ayro.

She concluded that this collaboration signified a strong commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals) and that this partnership would continue to uplift students and their families through sustainable educational opportunities.

The partnership and selection process were made possible by WESCOP.
