Wesleyan University-Philippines (WUP) Cushman Campus posted an overall passing rate of 85.71 percent in the August 2025 Licensure Examination for Criminologists (LEC), according to results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on September 12.Out of the 19 first-time takers from WUP, 16 passed, translating to an 84.21 percent success rate. This was higher than the national average for first-time takers, which stood at 61.19 percent.

In addition, two WUP repeat takers also passed, resulting in a 100 percent passing rate for the University in that category.

“The success of our passers is the fruit of our four-month lock-in mentorship and review program. Sa CCJE wala tayong pinipili, wala tayong iniiwan. We extend our full support and genuine care to help everyone succeed, in line with our core value of compassion,” Dr. Mercinario I. Santos, College of Criminal Justice Education Dean, noted.

Overall, 13,074 out of 25,410 examinees nationwide passed the licensure examination, equivalent to a 51.47 percent national passing rate. A total of 621 higher education institutions participated in the examination.
