Wesleyan University-Philippines (WUP) produced 47 new licensed social workers in the September 2025 Licensure Examination for Social Workers, based on results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on September 16.

Of the 47 passers from WUP, 42 were first-time takers, resulting in a 95.45% passing rate for first-time examinees, 14.28% higher than the national average in this category. The remaining 5 were repeat takers. The university’s overall performance was recorded at 83.93%, 7.87% higher than the national overall average of 76.06%.

Nationwide, 7,334 out of 9,647 examinees passed the licensure exam. The national passing rate for first-time takers was 81.17%. Passers came from 182 higher education institutions across the country.

The Bachelor of Science in Social Work at WUP is Level III Accredited by the Association of Christian Schools, Colleges, and Universities – Accrediting Council, Inc. (ACSCU-ACI).
