Wesleyan University-Philippines (WUP) posted 100% passing performance in the X-Ray Technologists Licensure Examination (XTLE) with two alumni sweeping the top two places, while it recorded a 63.89% overall performance in the Radiologic Technologists Licensure Examination (RTLE), both administered in December 2025, based on the results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on December 17, 2025.
In the XTLE, WUP’s performance eclipsed the national overall passing rate of 26.56% by 73.44%, where only 17 out of 64 examinees from 30 higher education institutions nationwide passed.
Among WUP’s XTLE passers were three first-time takers who likewise achieved a perfect 100% passing rate, surpassing the national average for first-time takers (39.29%) by 60.71%. Joining them was the lone repeat taker who also passed the examination.
Notably, WUP dominated the national rankings in the December 2025 XTLE, securing the top two spots nationwide. Mr. John Lloyd Caasi Mariano ranked 1st with an examination rating of 90.00%, while Mr. Ramon Austin Velasco Busog placed 2nd, earning a rating of 87.25%. The PRC recognized only three topnotchers for this examination.
Meanwhile, WUP produced a total of 23 passers in RTLE, 4.4% higher than the national overall average performance. Of the University’s RTLE passers, 21 were first-time takers who recorded a 77.78% passing rate, exceeding the national average performance of first-time takers (75.61%) by 2.17%. Two repeat takers from WUP also passed the examination in this batch.
