The Wesleyan University-Philippines signs the memorandum of understanding with the University of the Philippines Los Baños. This marks the official partnership of WU-P and UPLB for future institutional collaborations.
The University President, Judge Benjamin D. Turgano, represents the WU-P during the MOU signing. Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Estrella Buenaventura, Vice President for Administration and Finance Dr. Juan Jerome Malaca, and the Director of Office of International Linkages and Local Partnerships Dr. Carissa Balaria served as witnesses.
The main signatory for UPLB is Chancellor Jose V. Camacho Jr. The witnesses are UPLB Office for Institutional Development in Higher Education (OIDHE) Director Dr. Greg Pawilen and Program Coordinator Asst. Prof. Prince Kennex Aldama and Department of Social Sciences Chair Asst. Prof. Athenee Mercado.
Also present in the event are the Vice-Chancellor and Deans of UPLB and administrators of other partners HEIs (Saint Scholastica’s College Manila, Saint Tonis College, Northwestern University, and Mater Dei Academy of Sta. Maria Bulacan).
